Maryland Title Fact Sheet
In Maryland, there are several ways you can have an ownership interest to real property with another person.
Jodi Anderson is the attorney and owner of Anderson Law & Title. Prior to venturing out on her own, Jodi conducted and reviewed title for both commercial and residential settlements. She has also litigated residential and commercial cases in state and federal court, giving her a unique insight. Additionally, she was responsible for Best-Practices compliance. This drives her need to complete and ensure that transactions have clear title. Jodi represented and advised clients in matters as diverse as tortious inference, professional malpractice, family law, and property litigation. Her practice currently focuses on Real Estate Law. Jodi's experience allows her to anticipate even the slightest issues and resolve them prior to the completion of the transaction. Jodi's peers and colleagues agree, voting her Maryland Rising Star and Maryland Super Lawyers in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
Jodi graduated from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA receiving honors. Jodi went on to attend Temple University, Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to receive the Masters of Law, more commonly known as LL.M in Trial Advocacy. Jodi served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Walter D. Kelley, Jr. and went on to clerk for the Honorable Ronald A. Silkworth at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Jodi currently resides in Frederick County with her husband and children and is an active community member. Governor Larry Hogan recently appointed Jodi a Member of the Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission for District 10 - Frederick County.
